The business, an electrical wholesaler, was founded in 2011 by entrepreneurs Adam Knight and James Walsh. It now employs seven staff.
Walsh said: "The trade counter is getting busy as local electricians and the general public get to know about us - our stock levels have increased due to our customers demands which inevitably makes us more competitive in the market."
Pinnacle\'s bank Barclays paid tribute to the company\'s early success. Area business manager Richard Abley said: "Pinnacle’s first year of trading has been outstanding and shows that starting your own business really can offer a credible, financial alternative to working for another employer.
"What makes this so extraordinary is that Pinnacle is a \'recession baby\' – born, grown and succeeding in the current recessionary markets."
